The 1997 Agribition
Champion Energizer was introduced to our program as an outcross. He
is smooth polled, homozygous black and offers tremendous rib shape
and scrotal circumference to the breed. His calves are light birth
weight and can be used on heifers without concern.
He has produced many of the leading young sires in the breed such as
DCC The Mann, the Reserve National Champion bull for Burke and
Phelps, NE; DCC Changer who is now owned by J & J Ranch in TX;
Direct Current, the $31,000 bull that sold in Denver; Perfect
Timing, and high selling bull in the 2001 Ohio Beef Expo; Timeline,
former Denver, Louisville, and Kansas City Champion Bull; and Ali,
the $23,000 bull in Denver in 2003 sale purchased by Lautner and
Yocham. |
